2005 PCM and complete harness

Ive been on and off the fence about changing out my PCM so my 04 could get TCM support from Diablo. I know and have read where guys have done it and loved it. But I just gotta remember my 12" lifted QC truck with 24" rims and 36" tires just aint gonna be as fast as a RC dropped on 17s and 28s. So instead of wasting a good PCM and harness I feel like I should let someone else pick it and and get better use from it. It took me FOREVER to find a complete PCM and harness so Im hoping later on I dont regret this.

How much of an upgrade is this? Im thinking about tuning with the 3815 bc I have an 03. Is it really worth it to swap this out and go with a diablo or 3865. Thanks
