Hello all. Have not seen much on this in lurking the forum so i'll ask:
my truck is an 05, 4WD, 5.7 with 242K on the clock.
Runs pretty good......but the steering does not inspire confidence.
It tends to " stick" in turns and stay at the angle you leave it at, rather than tending to return to center.
My local shop has worked on my truck quite a bit, as have I. They rebuilt the steering box last year, and that did not seem to solve the issue.
Problem increases in the winter, as studded snow tires tend to pull a bit.
The truck is my daily driver, and i want to keep it on the road and see if i can get 300K miles out of it.
Any ideas, suggestions or experience with this?
