Hello all just looking for a little advice, long story short I had a clock spring break on me. I have the new/used one installed every code I had is now gone. But my cluster illumination light is constantly on the only way I can get it to turn off is by unplugging my steering angle sensor. I'm assuming it's because my steering angle sensor needs to be programmed to the truck. But I am new to this scanner I have, I have an Autel MK900 and it is supposed to be able to program the steering angle sensor but I'm not sure if I'm not going into the right area. I am very new to all this new technology but I am really trying to figure it out cause I certainly can't afford these shop prices

One action has fixed a couple issues for me when I do something electrical. Disconnect the battery and then I turn key on and off. Then I reconnect and run 2-3 cycles of start, run for 20 minutes, turn off for 20 minutes. Could try that, but will say I don't know if your repair actually requires reprogramming. But can't hurt. Good luck.
