2006 Daytona

I currently have a 2012 Crew Cab Laramie but came across a 2006 Daytona with low mileage but know very little about these earlier models and in particular the Daytona model. Is there anything you folks can provide to bring me up to speed... thanks

Daytona is only a 05 model year trim, it’s like the rumble bee numbered truck, lil nicer interior, graphics, hood, body kit, silver or orange(love that color) wing, an I think a borla muffler. Nothing different drivetrain wise from other 5.7 hemi equipped trucks of the same years which is why I never really got in the hype of them, an couldn’t justify the upcharge for one of them or the rumble bees

There we go. Like ST-8 said, little more upscale; badly executed truck throwback to the '69 Daytona Charger lol. Other than cosmetics, the only thing that really separates it from a regular 1500 is that it came with a Borla exhaust kit from the factory. You can run the VIN and see what options it came with.

I had a brand new at the time, 2005 GoMango Daytona rcsb truck.
God, what an awesome truck!! I miss it. Ran like a top, no crappy MDS ******** and never any issues, except for the evap issue. Once that resolved, never any issue.
I had low, low miles when I traded mine in. About 80K or so. I only traded up because I was getting a killer trade-in and a 2K rebate. I couldn't pass that up.

This one has 62K and is silver. Not thrilled with the wing but interesting nonetheless. Asking $13,900. Probably could be had for $12,900+-

Awesome.
The rear wing can be removed easily. Only 4 bolts holding it on.
