Hello.
L,m happy to say this is my first post on Ramforum.com
My brother-in-law is original owner of a 2007 Ram 1500 with a 4.7 litre. About 140,000 miles on it. Recently took it to a good mechanic shop for major brake work including booster.. A couple of days later the nephew was driving and the truck lost power and made engine noise. Top speed was about 35mph after that. The same mechanic shop tested it and said 2 cylinders had very weak compression and the engine should be replaced. They did not try to sell an engine.
Used engines are about $2100. plus $1300. installation.
Please tell me this is a dream and wake me up.
Anyone have a similiar story?
