Im looking at an 08 2500 6.7 with 280,000 Miles. Id really like too know any personal experiences with this specific truck, or any info? If this is a high milege for this truck? Anything too look out for, anything to check, etc

While these trucks certainly can go longer then that it is getting up there in mileage.

Depending on how it was taken care of it could be a good truck for you or a nightmare money pit. First off I would say if it is lifted and/or running a tuner or modded (over sized injectors etc) I would stay away.
Second, with that kind of mileage the entire front end could need replacing if it hasn't been already. Ball joints, hub bearings, tie rods, steering box, so look for any play up there. That was a weak point of the 3rd gen trucks.

The engine is pretty solid but could need injectors at some point? Transmission is decent as well as long as the truck isn't modded or abused. Again, a lot of this has to do with how the truck was taken care of so really hard to predict.

Early, non-DEF 6.7s had what is now viewed as a poor , heavy EGR emissions strategy. Throwing codes, oil dilution, and plugging up. They had numerous reflashes. Personally, I'd either go older with a 5.9, or newer SCR 6.7.

well if you need more power for towing, or your truck and beat to s*** and looking for something "cleaner" go for it. IMO id stay with what you have. My 2005 2500 with the 5.7 just rolled 380,000 with out to much problem.
