I have a 2018 ram 2500 6.7 with about 55k miles. The truck has what sounds like steering pump whine inside the cab, its not crazy loud but definitely noticeable and annoying. Obviously checked fluid level, it is full. Im trying to figure out what it is. when I have a family member turning the wheel like it owes them money it sounds normal outside of the truck, just a small amount of noise at full lock like every other truck I have driven. Inside the cab though it sounds loud. Is this typical for the high pressure steering pump hose when it goes out?
