Hey all, new to the forum. I am searching for some advice concerning my RAM. My wife and I purchased the truck used and noticed it had a little bit of a bounce at 50+ mph. The tires were near worn out and the shop re-balanced them before telling us it would clear up when we bought new tires. Time went on, we bought new tires and the bounce became worse. We've now had the truck for over a year and I'm still chasing this bouncy/bucking feeling that shakes cups in the cup holders when you get up over 50 mph. So far here's what I've checked/replaced:

New shocks all the way around
New U-joints
Popped front shaft and drove the truck - no change
Had rear drive shaft re-balanced (took some weight) - no change
Tires were re-balanced twice, then recently have had Equal put in them - no change

I've tried a set of 17" steel wheels from my mother's truck and it still bounced. When I towed a camper home with it the bounce was worse and I felt it through more of the truck (rear to front up through steering wheel). My friend works at a local shop and we've had it on a lift multiple times checking everything underneath. Nothing feels loose or looks overly worn. For a truck with 130k on it she's actually quite clean for a north easterner. I'm at a loss and need some help.

What u mean bouncing? Lile the rest end hops or from the front? Kinda sounds like death wobble but u do not have a solid front axle...

Check ur riffs and see if the gears are intact and are matching gear ratio

Since you pulled the frt drive shaft and it still fidgets, it's not different gearing frt and rear. And it also seems like you've done everything else except for an alignment (front end and frame) or play in the rear end. I'm leaning toward an alignment (full frame) or bent frame which is more common than a lot of people realize. I used to see it all the time when I was out patrolling, especially pickup trucks. Good luck,

Edit: An out of frame alignment will do exactly what you're describing and will definitely get worse when towing something. Been there, done that, and I own the T-shirt.
