Ok so while in the project of lowering my truck I also decided it would be a good time to paint the calipers. I picked the G2 kit off of ebay which was a two part system and I went with red.
So first steps was to get everything clean. Luckily this truck was in great shape and things were pretty clean.
I have a bead blaster so the brackets were pretty easy.

The calipers took some brake cleaner, wire wheel and elbow grease.

Apply paint and reinstall

And the finished product

When I first started this project I thought there wouldn't be enough paint to do all four..even though it says there is. Well there was more than enough and I was quite surprised at how much was left over.
So what do you do when you've been sniffing paint fumes and are watching paint dry........paint more stuff:

And more:

While the chrome rams head came off pretty easy, it certainly wasn't meant to go back on while the plastic backing was still on the truck. So I had to remove the platic piece, give it another coat, reinstall rams head and then stick it back on.

If I had known I was going to have the extra paint I certainly would have prepared more items to paint. But the paint was getting thick and I didn't have the time to pull items off to clean......but if your going to start a project have some extra things just in case.
