Everything I have read says to only use copper plugs in the hemi. I went to autozone and advanced auto and neither carrys copper plugs for the hemi. Their books showed many other plugs. O'Reilly said they could order some in but did not carry any. Is it a problem to use platinums or some other plugs in the hemi? I hate to have to go to the dealer for plugs.
Let me know what others have been using.
thanks:

Is there a NAPA in your area? All our engines, rather it be a Hemi, 4.7, 5.2 or 5.9 like copper plugs better than anything else. It's just how they're built I suppose...there are tune up kits on eBay that make buying all the plugs easy...and you can check out the forum vendor Rockauto.com...they also carry them.

you can use platinum's, but they can cost 4 times as much and they don't generally work as well.
