2009 ram a/c expansion valve question

So I bought a 2012 Complete A/C box to go behind the dash because mine had multiple issues and this one had 20k on it so in great shape.

I got everything connected except the A/C lines to the expansion valve. They seem to not fit. Any help would be appreciated.



Same goes for the other line too.



They both butt up against it but won’t go in the valve. Thoughts?

Wish I could help. I'll be changing mine soon in my 15. Must just be a small change between year
