2009 ram hvac actuators the same?

Well I replaced the brake switch and all the lights went off. As far as the plug i never found it's mate. So I just left it unplugged. Truck runs great now. Maybe it was a factory plug that isn't used for my vehicle. Thanks for the great help.
Just checked one of my trucks, that Christmas tree clips onto the plastic below the cupholder. The other end runs straight back and out of sight somewhere under the 2 level storage. This is on a fully loaded ‘10 Laramie so could very well be for an option your truck doesn’t have if you can’t find the other end.

My 2009 only had 2 wires going to the back of the floor console.
2 more going to rear of the console mounted shifter
1 goes to the shifter light
the last 1 goes to the cigarette lighter

It did not have any places to plug into for the rear seat passengers
None in the upper seat compartment either

all the other wires were for my CB Radio & a Roller Cage Fan used to cool the CB

My 2016 Ram only had one set of wires, they went to the Upper Compartment of the seat Console, for USB Ports & Lighter
