Here is my issue

2010 ram sport with basically no mods except some new fog/headlight/interior lights and muffler...

I was home to visit my parents over xmas and mistakenly washed out one of my two key fobs when i did some laundry..I tossed it in a bag of rice to see if it would draw out all the moisture before i brought it back to a local dealer for warranty..tee hee..

A cpl hrs later i drove to a ferry to get back home and locked my truck up after i boarded...Less that 15 minutes later it was announced that i needed to report to my truck..

I get to my truck and the front windows were down and alarm was goin off..

I hit the different buttons to cancell it but nothin till a minute or two after i started it..

Now sence then i have driven another 6 hrs and all was fine but mid trip i stopped for a coffee..I walked away from my truck and a few minutes later the alarm went off...pushed the alarm button and it quit and instantly restarted and i finally got it to stop..

Been home for a day and ran a few errands and all was fine...Last time i drove my truck was late last night and my keys were on the table untouched..20 or so minutes ago it suddenly went off....

I hit the alarm on my key thingy and it stopped..

Seems sometime my two key thingys are not working to do the auto start but will lock it or unlock..other times only one will work and auto start does work..Now with all this random crap happening i dont know which key fob was washed and what one is untouched...

My issue is that im a long haul trucker and leavin for a week within a cpl hrs and i dont want my alarm to go off randomly...

Should i unhook battery till i get back next week or any hints to fix the issue..

remove the battery from 1 remote and wait a few hours to see if it happens and repeat the same for the other. That will rule out which remote. If no change then remove both remotes batteries and then let the truck sit again for a few hours and then see what happens. If it still goes off then the remotes are good and its the truck that has the issue. Then it could be a door or the hood since for the OEM alarm thats what monitored.
