So...I picked up my painted tow mirrors yesterday. Then went to the shop to drop them off, and to check on the progress being made. Well...let's just said that NO progress has been made! Other than the new grille put on, the rear bumper taken off, and some new wiring ran....NOTHING has been done. I am BEYOND annoyed. They have had the truck for over a month now. I was told that they have been trying to knock out some smaller jobs first, to free up space for my truck. So, their plan is to pull it in Monday-Tuesday, and tear everything down, send the calipers and drive shaft out to powder coat (takes about a week) and while that is out...get all the electrical work done in about 2-3 days. Then, get the regular service stuff done. I had hoped to have everything wrapped up in a week or to, but doesn't seem realistic at this point. Plus the roll pan and bumper have to be test fitted and painted! FML

The whole truck... when they are jacked up, no one can see what magic you have done on top and IMO a lot of detail just can't be seen. I'm looking forward to the shoot To see how they handle all the angles.

Well, got a message from the shop today. The truck is in "shambles". All of the brakes are off, and out for powder coat along with the rear drive shaft. Tow mirrors are on. Wiring and brakes they hope to have complete this week. So, that just leaves the roll and and the front bumper, and the general tune up stuff.
Then, it will be time to start phase 2!

Stopped into the shop on Saturday. And, progress is ACTUALLY being made! WOOHOO! The brake calipers are off to powder coat. Tow mirrors are on. New front bumper has been delivered. That and the roll pan are supposed to go to paint this week...I hope. Here is the only pic that my friend snapped. I have no idea why it's black and white lol.
