So I have been doing research for about two hours on the internet and different forums. I've found some answers to my questions but not all so here I go. I want to apologize in advance for any of my questions that might be that dead horse. So here I go.

I have 2011 Hemi, it is my daily driver and my first gas truck I have owned nothing but diesels and know lots about the cummins but not much about the Hemi. I want to increase the power some and also MPG. I live in the DC area so traffic is a bear. So what do you all recommend? I was thinking of a cold air intake, exhaust, and a super chips. Would this give me a big MPG gain. I don't want to hot rod the truck and burn up the transmission. I worry about using a programmer in leu of messing something up. Also if I put a Cold air intake and exhaust on do I need to have the computer reprogrammed in order for the truck to react properly and if so would a super chip do that? I want to do the mufflex 18", would removing the resonators increase MPG or power. Will any of these things affect the longevity of the truck?
If anyone is running these mods how do you like them do you notice a negative effects on the truck?

Lots of info within the forum on this, I think this gets asked every 2 days.

CAI, exhaust and custom tune will certainly give you more power and somewhat better mpg.

CAI may require a tune to account for the increased air flow, I don't have one but I had to get a tune after getting a CAI on my previous vehicle.

Exhaust, no tune required..it's more for sound.

Keep in mind, if you mostly drive in stop and go traffic, you're gonna get ****** mileage in general.

The stock CAI flows damn good even better with a good drop in filter, that mufflex will be a nice addition. What gears do you have? If you have the 3.55's some 3.92's or 4.10's will net a lil better mpg's in stop and go traffic and throw you back in the seat more when you get on it. IMO tuners in stop and go traffic dont do anything for MPG's their more beneficial on the highway's for mpg's.
