2011 tires

2011 1500 outdoorsman. Has the factory 275/70/17 crap good years.

They're about bald and I'm looking to upgrade. Had trail grapplers a on my 06 trx4 and loved them but they don't come in that size.

I know the factory 17x7 wheel suck due to being so narrow. If I were to get aftermarket wheels what offset would I need and what tires would fit? Had the **** cepek dc5s on my last ram. Think the offset was -5 or something.

Buying tires and/or wheels tomorrow. Any advice would be appreciated.

i have -12 offset. and 285-70-17s. basically a 33. on a 2" level..

Anyone know if a 33x12.5 would fit an outdoorsman if I got bilstiens? If so what wheel specs? I always worry about width more than height as these rams like to rub the UCA it seems.

I ran a 315/70/17 on stock wheels with just a 2.5" level on my old outdoorsman..I know a 33x12.50 would fit, worse case wheel spacers could be used!

You can't go wrong with Cooper AT3's either my friend. I loved them on my Frontier.

I think the width (and rubbing UCAs) is the problem more than the height. 12.5 tires on FACTORY rims need 1/4 spacers from what I have read. I dunno about aftermarket rims.
