2012 4x4 quad cab catalytic converter computer code

Can i bypass the catalytic converter sensor in order to not get the computer code ? It is very expensive to change the catalytic converter and here in south Texas is not required to pass inspection.

Yeah like 6 bucks walmart. You can also use a product like caty clean a week before you bring it in, need one long trip on it.
