New Motor installed. Upgraded the intake manifold to 6.4 intake. The install, electrical, and hose hookups all fit great. installed the 6.4 fuel rails & injectors. All works fine except when the rpms get to around 1,100 & up to 2,000 rpms the motor hesitates or skeps excessively. When put in tow/hail mode not as bad or as often. Has Anyone had this issue or problem & gotten this resolved? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

If it's tuned could be a torque converter issue possibly..

Are you running your stock 5.7 injectors with a spacer,or the 6.4 injectors. If you have the 6.4 injectors, get the spacers replace them with your 5.7 injectors,it takes a pretty decent tuner to scale the 6.4 injectors to work properly in a 5.7

Yes the the 6.4 fuel injectors are in. I do still have the 5.7 injectors. But I would like some suggestions on a very good tune that I can purchase. I’ve found several from starting at 400 up 700.00. I don’t want to spend that kind of money until I get some decent referrals. Any suggestions appreciated!

Get rid of those 6.4 injectors, buy the spacers to re-use your 5.7 injectors first.

Ok, I’ll get the spacer, put them in. Should not be a need for a tune afterwords?

I wouldn't go that far,as i know nothing about your rebuild, other then you installed the 6.4 manifold and injectors, but swapping your stock 5.7 injectors back in,should make a noticiable differance in the way it runs for now.
