If I am seeing your profile picture correctly you've got quad headlights. That means one bulb for low beam and another for high beam.

If I am remembering right the low beam for the quads are H11.

H13 HID from ddmtuning.com work very well for me. They fit inside the housing with covers on after drilling the 1" hole for the wires to pass through.

DDMs kit, along with many others, come with a grommet on the wiring to plug the hole you cut.

HIDs don't belong in halogen housings. Unless you just enjoy blinding other drivers.

If you are staying with the stock quad housings, just upgrade the bulbs.
Use a Philips H9 for the lows and Phiips 9011 for the highs, easy upgrade to do.
You will need to trim the tabs a bit with nail clippers but this will take you about 5 mins.

Just google H11 to H9 swap.

For the 9005 to 9011

Should be pretty obvious when you take your 9005 out of the highbeam and hold it up to the 9011 what needs doing same with the h9 vs the h11.

You'll notice this upgrade big time lol

The DDMTuning HID kit has the exact same beam pattern as stock, just brighter.

Aim them as normal, way better than LED or H9.

Believe as you may, all the blanket statements, your choice.

End of the day, it makes no difference to me. Some people have done the testing, some people believe real world results.

The only time I have been flashed is when the bed of my truck was loaded near max and I didn't re-aim my headlights.

During my empirical testing, I got approximately 2.7 times the lux at 100 feet compared to halogen, with almost 100% identical beam pattern.

Again, this is with one brand, one set of HID kit. There are many out there that do not work well.

Do your research, there are many threads on this forum about this very topic.
