If they can find any hint that modifications could contribute to a failure or malfunction they can deny warranty coverage.

This is the main reason I don't mess with the drivetrain or suspension.

I dunno. Between the 6 & 8 Speeds it seems there are more issues talked about than I see on other truck sites. Not sure if that means they are weak, but certainly means a dealer shouldn't dismiss a complaint without a good looking into

You must not frequent many new ford truck forums

The only test the dealer should have done is a lie detector test!! I'm afraid he would have broke that too!!

Wow... You guys are a bunch of morons...
By what y'all are saying everyone on here should have their warranty voided.
I can guarantee my drivetrain is 100% stock

Please do I just like seeing all those go fast parts. Good luck man if you get a new one you get a new one if you don't I see an upgrade and fast parts going on rather quickly.

Chrysler probably lurks and reads these forums. If so, I can understand their confusion.

I wouldn't doubt it knowing that there are Reps on the two main Dodge forums on the web. Hell...two reps each, one for Canada and one for US.

this thread is ridiculous. I honestly don't know what you thought you were going to accomplish by starting this thread. It has clearly backfired on you and now you are back peddling and calling people names. I would quit while you are ahead.

You have to understand that based on your other thread the conclusions people are forced to come to, whether you ran the mods or not it doesn't look good, it doesn't look honest. I wish you the best of luck in fixing your truck.

lmao, seriously dude? nobody is going to help you with that attitude.

first of all, just because RIPP doesnt have tuning for 2012's yet doesnt mean you didnt have a custom tune done.

maybe you didnt install the supercharger, but from what i read in that other thread it sounds like you did and going back and covering your tracks deleting posts flat out looks bad on your end.

lets say you never installed it though. it seems very very odd that the dealer would have someone from chrysler come down and look at the truck before denying your warranty claim. ive worked for a chrysler service department before, and the only time i saw that happen was when a guy hydrolocked his motor and trying playing it off like he didnt. an intake and exhaust would have no effect on a trans claim, so there had to have been something else done to the truck at some point. a tune maybe? a different converter? shift kit?
