2012 Upgrade

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 SLT. I can buy a 8.4" Harman VP4 NA out of a 2016-17 Durango. I don't know if this unit will match up with my radio and climate controls. Does anyone know if this upgrade will work?

Hmm, I have my 8.4" with navigation out of my 2016 1500. I wonder that works? I replaced it to upgrade for Apple CarPlay.

Still planning to sell it, just haven't made the time to advertise it, but pm me if you're interested. I have the dash panel to go with it since I bought a new size aftermarket head unit.

The 13 and up radios and climate control systems will not work on the 09 to 12 trucks. They operate on a completely different system.

OK, thanks for the info. I'll look towards the aftermarket units.
