2013 Ram 1500 3.6 8 speed questions

Hey all,

Just got a my first truck. 2013 Ram 1500 Penastar with the 8 speed. I went with the Penastar as I rarely pull a load but wanted the option when needed, so opted for the gas mileage which is impressive.

I havnt seen much in the way of mods, is anyone tweaking these yet?

I was looking around and see cold air intake's for other vehicles with this engine, was also wondering if anyone has dual exhaust on them or if there is any great benefit to doing so with this engine?

I have the 3.21 gears, so anything I can do for some extra hp without compromising gas mileage I would like to consider

Welcome to the site. Sounds like a great truck. Any pictures?

For more performance, I know the 3.6 in my Jeep JK had some tuning options. A tuner is a great first mod, along with an intake. But I will admit, I don't know what options the RAM has for V6 tuning.

Picking up new 2013 Ram Outdoorsman today! My first truck! It's the V-6 8 speed transmission. It has single exhaust. I grew up with hot cars with dual exhausts. I would like to have them on this V-6? If so, approximate cost installed?
