Just wondering if anyone else finds this a little odd. On the RAM website I am building a 2026 RAM 1500.

If I select 4X2 the only engine choice I have is the 3.0L Hurricane with the 3.21 rear axle standard and the 3.92 rear axle as an available option.

If I select 4X4 I have a choice of the 3.0L Hurricane with the 3.55 rear axle and the 5.7L HEMI as an available option with the 3.92 rear axle.

1. Why isn't the 5.7L HEMI engine available in the 4X2?
2. Why wouldn't the 3.55 rear axle be an available option with the 5.7L HEMI 4X4?

Thanks
Mike

You must be looking at the Laramie trim level, as the lower ones don't even offer the Hemi. Odd, indeed!

I think it might have something to do with the year end/new year models. 27's are right around the corner. I play on their mediocre builder site as well and some builds flip options based on chosen color of the truck.
