2013 EPS rack and pinon replaced by me with a reman unit a year ago.
Just replaced Upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, shocks. Front end alignment.
Steering has a quarter inch or so of Steering wheel free play.
I'm questioning if the lash needs to be tightened up just a bit. It's always had just a little since I put it in but it's still there even with the new parts.
Has anyone ever adjusted the lash in the 2013 EPS?? I see ontop of the gearbox a hex nut with a rubber stopper in the middle. Any help would be appreciated.
