So... Recently traded in the 2012 Ram 1500 for a 2013 Ram 2500. This forum and everyone on it was a HUGE help in choosing/obtaining/installing the best performance mods for my 1500. So, what are you suggestions for performance mods with the 2500?

Diesel's are real simple...

TUNER - ITS A MUST WITH DIESELS - no power mods without one period.
4'' turbo back exhaust ( DPF / DEF Deletes )
Intake will help with responsiveness / faster turbo spool.

there is a lot of power to be unleashed out of a diesel. just depends on the money your willing to spend.

There aren't any tuners available yet for the 2013 diesels, so you are very limited on what you can do right now. S&B just released an intake system for the '13 models, but without tuning, you aren't going to gain much from this one. My dad also has a 2013 2500, and has been begging me to throw some go fast parts on there...there just isn't anything available for it yet though that is going to make a noticeable improvement.

Since most tuners have guages, I won't harp too heavy.

But before you go uncorking one of these things, be sure you know what it's doing!
Get an EGT gauge, get and EGT Gauge GET AN EGT GAUGE!

If the tuner you're getting has one, fine. but GET AN EGT GAUGE!
It's far to easy to toast a turbo having a diesel turned up and not knowing what you're doing.

I'd look into deletes too when they become available.

Head studs...pretty sure they're still a big issue.
