I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab with Alpine system. I am looking to add an amp and replace speakers. Can anyone please let me know what size speakers are in the dash, front and rear doors. I would like to put component in front doors but I don't know what size I can go with. I also plan to run good set of 6x9 in rear doors. I'm thinking of going with either hybrid audio or focal. Thanks in advance for your help.

oh and you can run 6.5 components in the front doors...alot of people are really happy with the focal speakers. when i saw the first set in front of me i was really impressed.

All I can say, is "good luck". You will have to spend a lot of money to be happy. Make sure to include some sort of input summing device/processor to your build, because a full-range signal currently is not present.

Front dash are 3.5" (5 min swap). Front doors are 6x9 with about 2.75" depth (can add more with spacer, but also limited by door panel in the front), and see mid-range only. The rear doors are 6.9 with about 3.5" depth, and are close to full range, but have treble boosted, and lack lows. Rear ceiling speakers are ~2.5". There are also varying impedences of all speakers. Some are 2 ohm, and some are 4 (nominal). It's truly a sucky system, and PITA to upgrade if you want to keep the OE deck. I'm beginning to think I should have went with the over-priced Kicker upgrade for speakers, and added my own sub.

Yes -- they are plug-n-play. It should improve some. I have not heard them, but they are better quality than the OE drivers. This is by far the easiest upgrade. It gets ugly if you want to pick your own speakers and amp.

That will set up the front stage with the center speaker. That doesn't look like a horrible price either. Mind you if you talk to some of the guys here on the forum they could point you in the right direction so you get the after market kicker stuff that fits and take a bit more power.

I always replace with aftermarket, glad I learned that Alpine screwed that up for me.

That is the Kicker upgrade stuff direct from Mopar. Are you saying there is a different upgrade?

There are many choices out there to sum the factory signal into something usable.
We tested mine after summing and had a full 20hz-20,000khz range.
It doesn't take a full blown DSP...just some homework and picking what you need.

Go focal you will not be let down hands down the best speakers i have ever herd just shop around and find some speakers that sound good then find a amp that will push them plus do more. You can go to a local audio shop and they should have a booth and just lsten to all their speakers and see what you like but i highly suggest focal speakers and a alpine 5 chanel amp. Thats the way i should have went but i got a better deal on my rockford fosgate speakers and they sound very very clean but just not like focal clean and i would suggest the alpine v9 for the amp its a great 5 chanel and if you wanna keep your factory HU then get a Pack converter
