I am having this same issue, as your video, was the the knobs thing you had to replace? Sorry I am confused if it was the heater module or climate control. Trying to fix mine myself and need to order the part.

Hi guys... Somebody knows where. Can I get a wire pinout diagram for the 2018 hvac control module...? Cause I having issues with the ac not blowing cold
.. Only if I connect the original manual bezel back will cool again.. Everything else will work fine so I assuming the harness is missing a wire position for the ac compressor to work.. Maybe?
So far I found that the number 10 wire on the truck harness side has only 5volts instead of 11.6 volts that the original bezel has... So something is wrong here.. Thanks

2018 brand new havc module..

I am dealing with the same issue. Turned truck on today and have zero control over my climate control. Won't turn on with soft or hard keys. Brought to a mechanic and he said it's most likely the uconnect system. 1500$ new or $500 rebuilt. I'm hoping someone has a cheaper definitive solution. I wanna try the climate control module. Though I have no idea if that's the problem. There were no other issues what do ever with anything.

For two years now... I have lost my rear camera and it sometimes takes 2-3 minutes for the screen to boot and be able to have control over the HVAC unit... although the controls eventually start reacting. I have found if I leave AC on when I shut down, the AC is running when I start the next time even if I cannot control it right away.

What a stupid system...

I had my 8.4 unit worked on once when the GPS went out by Infotainment dot com about 3 years ago. It broke again a little out of their warranty period, but the radio and HVAC WILL work after 2-3 minutes of blank screen. SOmetimes it works right off the bat...

I ADDED an aftermarket backup camera... but I wish I could fix the OEM unit.
