As the title says I have a 2014 2500 Big Horn with a 5.7 which has about 48K on it. I want to replace the stock exhaust manifolds with some shorty headers and am looking for recommendations. I am not necessarily after max HP gains insomuch as I want to fix the broken studs and gain a little bit of HP/TQ. I realize that long tube headers are better for performance but I don't want to do a full exhaust replacement. I do have a CAI on the vehicle but not much else performance wise. I am looking for durability at this point, not that I wouldn't take an increase is performance (and hopefully mpg).

I have looked at the ARH system which is attractive but expensive and I wondering if they throw any codes?

I have looked at JBA, BBK, etc but notice that most do not list the 2500 (one site noted the BBK only fit the 1500).

I have a full shop so installation of anything I get is not an issue, just trying to make the right decision the first time.

I appreciate any recommendations and/or advice in advance.

You need a custom tune with LT headers and ARH are the best.

Go with shorties if you dont plan on doing actual performance MODs

I do have a Diablo intune but to be honest I am not impressed with it. That said I don't want to spend a bunch of time trying to "tune" it.

The question is which shortys?

I have seen some advertise their headers as for a 1500 and 2500 but most only say 1500. I watched a video which indicated that the motor mounts were different between the 2 which doesn't seem right to me. I think the only one that says their system fits a 2500 is ARH.
