So I have a 5.7 hemi full time 8 cyl to rebuild it came out out of a 2012 ram 2500. I would like to make it a stronger (more HP more torque). I don't want a turbo or supercharger. Maybe just cam, crank, pistons, injectors... whatever. ECU? I'm not sure. I want to put it back in the same truck. what do you think I should do?

Read through the engine section, there are a lot of rebuilding posts there.

Pretty crappy of the people you got this "rebuilt" engine from to not stand by their work with as few miles on it, if this is the same engine in your other thread:

I repaired my MDS hemi <6 months ago, using mostly OE parts, even replacing a couple things I didn't have to, dropped close to $6k

That was almost everything except pistons, rings, injectors, and the cam, crank, and rod bearings.

Be prepared to spend $$$$ if you want stronger than stock, might be better off buying a crate engine instead.

Please post where you got the "rebuilt" engine from so others can avoid them.

Post some vids of your "tick" to YouTube and link them here. Maybe there is an easier solution to your issue, and until you know for sure whether it's a lifter or other problem, it's harder to figure the best solution.

Open your wallet wide. The big hand of Mopar parts will take a large chunk!
