I have a 2014 RAM 2500. The back-up camera is on the rear view mirror. I can hardly see it because it is so small and it is hard to focus the bifocals.
Is it possible to swap the image down to the larger screen on the radio.
I have the 8.4 Not sure about version.
Thanks in advance

All you need is a Pass through cable
Someone on this forum may have them already made up

I know that a site called Infotainment made a video of their setup, but you don't need all of the parts
You already have the tailgate handle & camera & the harness that already goes from the handle to the cab

Just jump to the 8 minute point of the radio, if you don't want to watch the complete installation

Do you have the button on your radio for the camera?

Assuming you don't have the cargo camera as well, you should be able to mirror the rear camera to your radio

I got a harness from @Mpgrimm2 recently and did exactly what you want to do in my 2500.

It's a pretty straightforward upgrade as long as you are comfortable pulling out your radio. The harness mpgrimm2 makes is all plug and play, no splicing or cutting required.

He should see the mention I made, or you can post in his section of the vendor forum.

Thanks Pard.
I do have a cargo camera. After an update my radio now has a button for the cargo camera and the backup camera.

Oh, thats good. So right now your cargo camera should be showing up on the reverse camera input and when you press the button for the cargo camera do you get a blue screen?

Assuming that is the case when you go into reverse you see the cargo camera on the radio and the reverse camera in the mirror?

That's how mine was operating and when I added mpgrimms harness in I left it like that and hooked up the reverse camera to the cargo camera input.

So right now when I go into reverse I get the reverse camera on the mirror and the cargo camera on the radio. When I need a larger reverse view I can just hit the button on the radio.
