Ok a longshot here but, does anyone happen to know the diameter of the transmission line know as the jumper tube on a 2014 bighorn. Seems previous owner hit something and I have one of the tubes smashed i would say it's now only open approx 25% . It's not leaking however, from my understanding these lines are used to equalizer pressure from front to back of the transmission and therefore I think it's nessasary to repair. Was considering using compression fittings and stainless steel tubing and simply splice a section in. The smashed area is easy to get to a seems like this would be much easier than attempting to replace entire jumper tube. But any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated .

Never heard of a jumper tube, maybe post a pic of what line you're referring to,and what transmission you have

Does your truck have the 6 speed,as i'm a bit familiar with the 8 speeds, and don't recongize those lines

It's the 8 speed. On the passenger side along the side of the transmission there are two smaller lines as well as two larger diameter lines and this is the larger ones

The larger ones are the coolant tubes, cut out the bad section, then bubble flare the ends and patch it back together with 3/4" heater hose.
I just looked at the coolant lines i took off my 14's 8 speed and those must be for the later trucks that don't use the 3 way valve,as they're definitely differant then the lines off my 14

Thats what size they looked to me . Thank you I thought compression fittings might be better but the hose would definitely be easier. Thank you for the help

Heater hose will be alot easier to patch in then using a couple compression fittings and another chunk of aluminium line.
Both lines are definitely damaged, but i think i'd only patch the really kinked line, and even it, i'm not so sure i'd even worry about if it's not leaking, they only feed coolant to the thermal management unit on the side of the transmission, and their sole purpose is to heat the transmission fluid. The cars and HD trucks don't heat the transmission fluid, only the 1500's use coolant to heat the transmission fluid.
I actually removed those lines and the thermal management unit on my 14,and converted back to the 5/6 speed molded heater hose set-up,and bypassed the 3 way valve completely
If you're bound and determined to fix them, just bubble flare the cut ends,
If you don't have a 3/4" bubble flaring tool, you can usually rent one.
