Holy O-**** is all.

What a pain in the butt that was.

They used urethane to seal them and what a pain to remove the lens.

Reason is 2 of the 3 mounting posts for the projector are busted off.

This seems to be a common issue as BOTH headlights on my truck now have some busted internal mounting tabs.

I'm going to use some glue to re-attach the mounting posts to the housing + drill a couple strategic holes to reinforce them with a few zip ties.

I think when I re-seal them I'm going to use butyl tape or silicone in case I ever have to pull the lens again.......

Might as well swap in some better projectors while you have them opened up. Use butyl to re seal. Just had to re open mine to replace a turn signal board. Waaaaaay easier to open with butyl than permaseal. Took one shot in the oven @ 235 for 18 minutes. Came apart first try. Permaseal literally took me an hr plus

Hey guys my passenger low beam has no power to the bulb but has power on the truck side harness. Any idea if replacement wiring / board is available for these projector assemblies?
