It rides fairly decent as The Kings are toasted. one of the rear shocks didn't event extend as they normally do when you remove the shock from the vehicle. It finally did next day :)
Oh boy. That's how you know you're getting your money's worth!

Back from our new year trip to Sequioa. Beautiful drive, not the amount of snow the kids were expecting but for me it was great cause we were ale to hike Moro Rock and other trails that would have been otherwise closed due to snow accumulation. Vey relaxing trip.

Looks like a beautiful trip.

How are the Patagonias holding up? Would you put em on the Ram?
Ty bro.
They're holding up better more in line with other MT tires i've had before. I swore to never get Pat MT01's but technically Milestar change the compound with the MT02's so here i go with Pats again but MT02's :) Wear is 1/32 every 3k miles more or less but's that's in the Jeep. size 315/70/17

They're about 1/2 taller than KO2's in the same size, but they look bigger than that. Yes i'll run them in the truck considering their price. Pats have 7500 miles here, KO2's have about 20k miles

And it's done. Took me 7 hours including putting the front end on ramps, bio brakes, lunch and packing all my tools back. :)
132k miles later, Kings are now 6 years old and this is their 2nd official rebuild. Icon UCA's have 3 years, all my Clayton stuff is now 4 years old. all plug ang play set it and forget it. Still unmmolested lowers front, tierods and cv's.

Also the shocks came back in time so we can take the truck out to KOH 2024.

Took her out to KOH 2024 for the official shocks baptism and as expected the difference with fresh shocks is day and night. We came last weekend to watch the races and then yesterday to enjoy the pricing inside Hammertown. Picked up more toys alone the way and bought more things for the Jeep as well. Also if your trip purpose is still watch races and just drive around and test your suspension ripping up the areas of the desert that don't have rocks /deep woops, then going in last day of KOH is the best way to do it, lots of people leave in the morning trying to beat the exit lines, so Hammertown has all the amenities, vendor specials, big TV's etc without the insane crowds and the spaces in the desert to go and have fun while you drive is not shared by 1 million dudes in side by sides and offroad rigs all trying to drive in whatever direction they see fit :)

I just threw some kings on the front of mine! Had my second set of ironman struts snap on me out in gorman on monday, and i was able to score these kings for 1000 bucks. Only used for a month! I added a .5 inch spacer on top of the kings, and im sitting at about 25ish inches from hub to fender passenger and 24.5ish on driver. I have about 3 open threads showing on passenger and 4 almost 5 driver. The little bit of lopsidedness is killing me. Im also on 37’s. So i was wondering what you were at before if you had any measurements?

Yep i see the lean in your pics. How much lift do you have in the truck ?
I also had a lean like that but the beauty of the CO's is that you can fine tune your height with them.
On my 500lbs springs every 5 full turns on the adjusters equals 1" lift so every one full turn is about 0.2" lift.
From the pics i see you have fairly heavy springs at 700lbs ?
Can you post all the numbers in your CO springs ?
Since you're 0.5" taller on the passenger side, you can remove 2-3 full turns from your passenger CO or add 2-3 full turns to your driver side and that should make it even.

Also did you measure those 1/2" spacers are not overextending your cv axels ?, i think they're 1/4" thick * 1.5 (motion ratio in our arms), that's extra 3/8" droop. Not sure our CV axels will like that extra droop, remember Kings are already extended travel units so 1" longer already than factory at 22.5" extended.

Wow! What caused the Ironman struts to snap?

Sorry for the late reply,

So yeah they were the 1/4 spacers on top, and i have my CO’s set to 3 threads showing on the passenger side, and 6 showing on the drivers side, my front end did get lowered down since i swapped to Icon triple rate gladiator rear springs.
As for the axle issue, they are dropping far less than the Ironman’s did. I also lost a full 1-1.25 inches of down travel with the new kings. I found out that the Ironmans are actually the same spec as 5th gen Fox coilovers, same Comp. and Decomp. Numbers. I was sitting at a full 7.25ish of travel up front.

I am thinking of lowering the front a tad bit more, but i do like the stance the truck holds now, the 700 lb springs were not too fun at low speeds up Maple springs last week
Now i just need to figure out my rear alignment, axle is ever-so slightly DS biased. I do have an adjustable trackbar so thinking when i lowered the rear end some it threw it off.
