2014 Ram 1500 V6 Pentastar

Hi forum friends, I have been lurking here for the last month and would like to say hello and establish a V6 thread. I have installed some nerf step bars, fender flares, high roller bike tie bar and a tonneau cover. Partially murder out the chrome emblems, put on some XD rims and 20" tires.
The truck is great, the 8 speed tranny shifts like champ.
I want to buy a flowmaster twin exhaust for the truck because I like a little sound when I feel like going fast.

Has anyone bought a flowmaster for the 3.6?

A gent locally has a 22" Magnaflow on his Pentastar Durango, sounds pretty good.
Reminds me a lot of a Nissan 350Z with the Nismo exhaust.

Hi guys. I bought this truck for MPG's. I love it so far, I tweaked it a bit by running royal purple full synthetic, a k and n drop in filter.

I was wondering if adding a flowmaster catback exaust (dual or single) would add any difference on the MPG's.

Also, has anyone chipped this truck yet to see if it gets better MPG's?



2014 Ram 1500 v6 3.6l SXT. 6.5 quarts of royal purple 5w20 full synthetic. K and n drop in air filter. Diamondback tonneau cover: Haul on top! Raptor series wheel to wheel nerf bars. Tow package. Appearance package. White. 12000km.

Welcome, and great looking truck! A friend of mine bought one identical to yours when I bought mine. He absolutely loves it. Driving in the city he is getting 25mpg, highway that thing is gonna be 30's for sure.

magnaflow usually has a better increase in mpg and performance due to the straight through design
