I have a 2015 Ram with quad reflector headlights. My truck has the Canadian package which enables the the DRL. But the truck uses the High beam as the DRL. Im assuming it pushes a lower voltage to produce a dimmer light then pushes full voltage when high beams are turned on.

Now I know LEDs probably wouldn't work like that or if there's dimmable ones?

But basically I don't want to buy LED high beams and have my high beams turned on all the time. Im curious if anyone knows of an LED that can act like a halogen and won't be at full brightness every time I go into drive.

Just use AlphaOBD and change your DRL to your fogs or turn signals or turn them off totally. Problem solved.

BTW most modern LED bulbs will just run full bightness even with lower voltage applied. Thats how mine worked on my canadian ram with DRLS before i changed mine to my signal lights (the amber signals match my cab lights LOL)
