2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn - Rear Defrost

When I turn the truck on either with remote start or with the key, the rear defrost is already on, and I have not turned it on.

Anyone know why?

Could be the “auto-on comforts” feature. This also turns heated mirrors and heated steering wheel/seats on

Does it come on always, or just below 40 degrees?

Supposed to be 40 degrees, ambient temperature. Also depends upon whether you have Auto Climate, or manual, whether either system active when vehicle was shut off and the setting for comfort zone in Uconnect...depending upon Trim/Uconnect level

Vehicle doesn't have heated seats/wheel. It has been very cold out here in VA...19 degrees yesterday morning.

I'll look for the comfort zone setting in Uconnect.
