weather has been crap over the past few days so haven't been able to receive the truck, however used the opportunity to get the fender flares painted and installed along with the Mopar chrome mirror caps.

Hi Tyrant,
Yeah if your anywhere near me I know exactly what you mean. Super cold temps or snow. This has been one lousy winter.

Love that color. Should debadge the rams 1500 off of it and leave the hemi badge. Would look a lot better. Great progress thus far.

Thanks guys,
Fender flares are OEM 1500 Flares paint matched "blue streak"
heres a pic clearly showing the flares and the OEM wheels with the Baja STZ tires:

Ty, the timing of your post is providential (and your truck is sweet)! I've been considering mild fender flares just like you installed for my '12 Tequila Sunrise Pearl RCSB and stumbled onto your shots via Google...I really like the look!

Now for the $64,000 question: do you think they actually help keep any dirt or mud off the truck? I'm not a flaps kinda guy, but I don't want to go all "super bolt-on heavy duty monster mudder flares" on my rig, either. It's a street truck, after all.

they do help in keeping some dirt and rock from hitting the fender (the tires stick just a tad bit out of the body)
but just to be open about it, it was never my intention to install the flares to keep the mud and dirt away from the truck.

i say go for it, the flares can be had for a reasonable price - OEM is a bit on the expensive side but many manufacturers make OEM replicas for cheap (if you have the chrome bumpers just make sure you don't get the 2500 flares by mistake)
