Hi, I have a 2016 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab. Anyone know of a good website where I can purchase the weather striping that goes on the bottom of each window on the outside of the doors? I tried the dealer, but they want way too much money for pieces of rubber. Thanks

I got mine from both Summit and Raybuck Auto.

Were gonna put a quad cab kit together but in the meantime here are the individual pieces you would need

Please let me know if you have any other questions at this time.

Thank you,

Holy crap. Why are the rear doors 6 times the price of the fronts, and they are smaller?!

I believe there was/is a vendor change occuring, In general the kit dropped in price over the years somehow.

Gotchya. I would love a set of new lower door seals as well, as mine have swelled up over the last 10 years with all the fluid film oozing out of the doors lol. When i close the doors they are visible in a few spots because they are longer now. Bugs me…but i dont think it bugs me enough to shell out $100 a piece for the rear doors !

A little judicious trimming with sharp scissors will fix a lot of your door seal issues.

The problem is they have actually lengthened, like between the little nubs where it clips into the door. So they are too long and they bunch up and hang down. When the door closes they get squeezed out of the door a little bit and it is visible when they are closed.

Yes, I understood that. Trim them between the nubs with very sharp scissors or an exacto knife and then use crazy glue to rejoin them.

Hmmm. Well for $200+ that may be the way i go haaaa. Especially since the new ones will most likely just do it again too.

We have used crazy glue and sharp knives for years to make custom mouldings for vehicles that you can't buy factory new for anymore. It is an old trick guys that restore old or uncommon vehicles learned so they can make new door mouldings, weather stripping etc. Lots of out of production vehicles need that kind of work. Last set I made were for a 1954 Ford Coupe that had the roof chopped.

This isn't it but looks almost identical.
