2017 key in on position engine light flash times

Have a 2017 5.7 when you turn the key to on, but don’t start the engine light flashes 10 times. Does anyone know if this is normal? When running no lights are on

Goes off as soon as I start it. Just wondering if the 10 times it flashes with the key just in the on position is normal, it it a normal sequence of checks that it does

I think it's just going through its system checks when it does that

Hoping that the case! Kind of new to Hemis and still getting used to all the Hemi noises especially when really cold. Been really cold where I live and had the engine light come last week and went to dealer to check code. They said it was a code they haven’t seen before, but didn’t tell me the code number. They cleared code and hasn’t come back. Didn’t know if it had something to do with that

That's odd. Yeah hemi is kind of a different beast. When it's really cold - 40 or colder hemi gets kinda Cranky. I get service 4x4 lights and airbag lights come on. After the engine warms up it goes back to normal never gives any issues though.
