I have a 2017 Ram 1500 5.7 with 97000 miles. A couple of years ago, the check engine light came on and it showed to be the fuel pressure sensor. I ignored it and kept driving as it was running perfect. Now it won't start and I suspect the fuel pump is out. I have a few questions: Should I go ahead and change the sensor 1st and see if it makes any difference? I see a lot of aftermarket sensors and fuel pumps on Amazon. Can y'all recommend any particular brand for the sensor and the pump, and ones to stay away from? Seems like a fuel pump ought to last longer than this so I need to know if any of the aftermarket ones are even better than Mopar. Thanks in advance.
