Grille Assembly for 2022 RAM 1500 Limited (Night Edition) -- 68490797AB

All, I have tried to be as self-sufficient as humanly possible, but I just cannot find the answer to this question. I am changing my RAM 1500 grille (shown in the pic below) to a Night Edition. I've already obtained parts 1 and 9 from the attached image, which were primed and have been painted black. I also have the RAM letters in black. Those are all ready to be installed. The next piece (the most expensive piece) is the grille itself. I believe it's Part No. 68490797AB. Is this right? The next and last question I have is with regard to the highlighted trim piece under the grille, highlighted in yellow and that I'm pointing to. It goes in between Parts 9 on the driver and passenger trim pieces.

Is that a separate piece or part of the grille assembly itself? I have not been able to find any answers!

Hi, Benny. Yea, I have the camera. I’d love the bars. The vehicle I’m using for parts purposes is 1C6SRFHT1MN550338. This is a night edition limited. I believe the night edition grill with bars should bolt right in to my truck.

All use the same part number grille 68490797AB , If you look in the background there is a textured design as opposed to just bars on the example grille below



If this is the style you wanted I would have to research if this design is available for your front end.

Ok, so 68490797AB fits the VIN I provided? If so, then that’s definitely the one I need. The pic you provided won’t fit a limited, you’re right.

In the illustration that I provided, only items 5 and 6 are the right shape to fit a limited. I think it has to be textured per your earlier email. I can go ahead and order that part, I think. Agree?

Correct and as of right now I agree, I have not been able to find that other combination on a production truck. If you come across one please pass me the VIN and I will look it up.

Based on Mopar paint codes straight black is code PX8, Essentially you can paint it whatever color youd like. Some owners use PXR which is Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, This has metallic and is a factory Ram color.
