2017 Ram 1500 Power Mirror Fold Upgrade Error

I did the power mirror upgrade on my ram.

Door modules:
68225102AD Right
68225103AD Left

I have the door switch as well I am able to get the driver side to fold but the passenger side does not fold. Alphaobd PDM says "Failed. Requested procedure is not supported by the unit" and i have a body control module code U0200 "Lost Communication with Passenger Door Module". The puddle lights, turn signal, power mirror, locks, and window works but the mirror doesnt fold. No sound of motor either. I installed another set of mirrors and nothing. Fuse F20 PDM is good. I am not sure what else to look for. Thank you

I would recheck the connections at the door module. Loss of comms is either a bad connection or a bad module.

Put the old module back in and see if the problem clears. If it does, you have your problem ID'd.

I plugged in my old one but that one does not have power mirror fold capability. I cleared the codes will have to do some driving with both modules to see if it comes back. What are the odds of a bad module not willing to only power fold when the rest of the functions are working 100%?

Update: Got a new module. Works perfectly now i guess i had a dud. Thanks for you help!

I'm having sorta the same issue with my 2009 laramie. I bought the same laramie style powerfoldjng mirrors from a 2015 2500. I set the body controls with alfa obd and both mirrors won't fold in. But all other functions work fine.
I do have some codes saying lost communication with rear left and right door modules.
Is it worth a shot to replace the front door modules ?

Are there actually rear door control modules in 4th gen ram 1500's or do the front door control modules control the rear doors?
I opened up the rear door pannel on a 2023 classic to check the part # and there was no module there ?

None on my 2011 Ram 1500 Big Horn...just on the front doors.

Today I finally got the door modules that have power folding. Part # 68233219AC, now the problem I'm having is after installing these different modules is my front driver and passenger windows won't roll down nor will my power lock button work.
The power folding mirrors work now and also my back windows work too.
Any thoughts ?
My truck is a 2009 1500 Laramie and I added the oem power folding mirrors from a 2013 + 4th gen as well with the door modules.

The protocol the can bus uses to talk to the modules has changed a few times over the years. If the modules you install are from an entirely different year / protocol, there will be comms issues and everything will be screwed up.

Ok so your saying I'll need control modules from the 2009- 2012 4th gen era ? I got these ones from 2017 or 2018 Cummins and my truck is a 2009 Laramie, its been a painful and annoying journey learning to upgrade this truck. I get screwed on a lot of upgrades I can't do bc of the changes in 2013+ with the wiring and also my year didn't have a bcm either.

Are your mirrors the laramie/longhorn chrome shell style with turn single and puddle light at the bottom, non-towing mirrors?
