2017 Tradesman 3500 remote start

Installed the mopar kit, switched the overlays onto my existing keys and used alfaobd to add remote start and the hood sensor.

Remote start isn’t working. Do I need to reset the RF hub? If so what app is the pin puller? Dealer won’t budge on charging $50.

That worked. Picked up a tablet with android and reset the RF. Worked immediately!

Is there a way to eliminate the horn honking when using remote start? I press the door locks (honks) then hit the remote start button which causes it to honk once, lights flash and then one more honk before starting up.

Yes. Either through the radio. I think it's under doors and locks or maybe lighting. I forget exactly but it's not hard to find. Or with alfaobd under customer settings. I don't have alfaobd with me

In AlfaOBD look for Cust.Prog.Features - Sound Horn With Remote Start. There is a search feature in Alfa so you could focus on “Cust” to drill down to the correct area.
