2018 2500 transmission

for the most part transmission seems to shift fine but lately 2nd gear stumbles a lil and at times it seems stuck in 4th gear and wont shift lower or higher even in manual mode

The stuck in 4th gear thing sounds like limp mode and is a symptom not the problem. Basically, the tranny is trying to save itself from more damage. Is this the 6spd or the 8spd?

its a 6 speed 83K on it

Drivetrain warranty should be 5 year/100K. So depending on when it was first put in service, it may be a covered repair. Any motor tunes/mods/deletes on the truck?

Gas engine 60K warranty i have been looking into an extended warranty just not sure which are good. The truck is basically stock 35 inch tires 2.5 level kit K N filter

You are in limp mode. You can try and scan it to see what codes come up but limp more is never good. You may be looking at a transmission rebuild.
