Replaced an ECU on a 2019 Ram 3500 engine failed and rod went through block destroyed ECU so no information can be pulled from ECU Ordered A used ECU when it came in one of my employees decided to install it before I had the chance to find out if we could reflash it or not though Witeh with pass though 4 from Snap-On found out that it could not be done So I ordered a reman ECU From Ram Put ECU in the truck whenever I go to program with the witech software I enter the correct vin the system then reads the vin from the Used ECU that we purchased somehow when that ecu was installed the BCM took the vin from that ECU and stored It so now that I have the reman ECU I cannot flash it because the bcm has incorrect Vin stored in it I have called dealer and took the truck to them they can't do anything with it I need to be able to change the vin in the bcm so I can then flash the ECU threw Witech anybody been able to do this i cannot clone the bcm because it has the wrong vin stored in it I have verified this with witech software and snap on is this even possible or do I have to purchase a new bcm
