2018 UAQ Swap and Heated Seat Swap soft keys missing

So I have a 2018 3500 Tradesman.

This truck is effectively a Laramie with the exception of a few items. I have swapped all harnesses and done it without retrofits.

Everything is working great except for the heated and cooled seat soft keys.

Per Deereguy in the UAQ swap post, if your truck didn’t come factory with heated or cooled seats, then the soft keys won’t show after the swap.

I have the hard keys for the seats working them for now, but my truck is setup for the Aux switches and I would like to get my functionality of those back.

Has there been any update on overcoming this glitch?

Does anyone know how the UAQ reads whether to allow seats? VIN? Obscure settings?

Would switching to a UBD Uconnect 5 allow me to have Carplay and the soft keys?

You have to enable the function in the BCM with AlfaOBD.

I added them into my 2019 Classic, enabled with Alfa and it took about a day but they showed up in the radio. Don't be surprised if they do not show up right away after making the change.

This should be the list, but there could be something missing since it's been a while.
