Hub centric rings finally came in after a year on backorder... So got those put on yesterday while doing a 4000 mile rotation. Tires still doing great. Highly recommend the Grabber ATX!

Opened up the tent and put the annex on for the first time. It's huge! The extra space will be very nice while camping.

Decided to put the Hi-lift and the Recovery Boards on the rack to see how I like them there. Gotta go full overland ya know... lol. Rack version 3.0 will follow the lines of the new tent to create more of a shell like look.

You know you really should be over here too. They'd eat this stuff up. May get some word out on your rack too..

In case anyone wanted to know the difference in 5100's and Icon 2.5's. I wish the Icons had a rounded edge on the bottom as compared to the bils. My LCA's did not like that square edge during install.

ohhhh niiice....

I am literally on the fence about what to do with the suspension. I want to lift it, the lift I want is unavailable, my frugal side says stick with the bils, then there's a part thats like ohhh 2500's are nice too.

Update on the Icons: Street driving is very similar to the bils. In fact the bils might drive better on a normal roadway. Now the difference in rough roads and gravel is insane. The Icons soak it up, and beg for more :Big Laugh: Can't wait to get these out on the trails.

Also was able to get 4.5* of caster out of the Zones on the alignment.

Height wise, At Icon's pre set height they are sitting the same as the bils at 2.8. I think i have maybe .135 of an inch to go up, so these are pretty much at max.

It's a hard decision. The 5100's do ride very well for what they are. I had committed myself to go for the 6112's but after a better than expected bonus I decided to go full on to the Icons. So far I've been confident in my decision.

Went to "test" the Icons this afternoon. There's not a whole lot of Public land to really play on here around KC so kinda stuck to rail access roads. Even still was able to get up to speed on some pretty rough terrain. I am floored at how well these preformed! Had the truck up to 60, and could have easily given it more. This truck is really starting to get dialed in how I want it.

Gotta post some poser pics

Gonna be as close to boogie rated as you can get here shortly if you keep this up.

Another trip down south in the books. Took the tent off as we hauled some stuff that wouldn't fit with it on.

The Suspension is almost dialed. I need to upgrade track bar, and some sway bar end links eventually. I only really notice at highway speeds with some load in the back.

Handled some dirt roads like a champ.

Picked up another marketplace find today. It was too good of a deal to pass up.

IMG_0875.jpg

The guy I bought it from had it on a 5th Gen 1500. However I think it was originally for a 3rd Gen. Either way it's in decent shape, and has no cracks or broken glass. So that's a win for me!

I'm still debating on what to do with it. I may make a Prinsu Style rack to go on it for the tent, or sell it... We'll see.

Even though it wouldn’t match your cab roof rack, a gobi style rack with a ladder would look amazing on your truck
