2019 tonneau latch replacement

I’m struggling to replace a broken front latch on my stock tonneau cover (2019 limited 1500). I bought the replacement latch online but it appears that I need to slide the adjacent bow off the tonneau frame to replace the latch. The bow is attached to the frame with a nut that has virtually zero access. Does anybody know how to detach the bow or, better yet, replace the latch without removing the bow.
