2020 Ram Paint Defect

Just dropped my truck off to get this repaired. It literally looks like a blob of epoxy or something similar under the paint. My question is how does something this obvious get past quality control?? Paint looks great otherwise, just this one issue.

While looking to purchase our new truck that is one thing I noticed on the ram compared to gmc or Chevy is that the quality of the paint was not as good on the ram.....

^^. This I totally agree with and if you want a more pronounced color you really have to go over it with a fine tooth. I stuck with Billet silver as it in my opinion would show less flaws.
