Where are you headed this time of year?We have our first trip scheduled for this coming weekend. We are very excited to get out. We typically camp with 3 other families and most of our trips are already booked for the year.

thats what i say "at least we wont be home" and "i can sit by the campfire". hey youre not going for something to do, youre going for nothing to do rite?!?! i just love camping. nothing "NEEDS" done except a fire made and eating.Twin Grove resort in Jonestown PA is open all year round. There won’t be much to do but they have good WiFi so the kids can do their school work Friday afternoon. At least we won’t be at home!
I can sit by a camp fire and work as well while we wait for our friends to arrive.
We love this campground in the summer time. They have a lot for the kids to do and there is a creek that occupies a lot of everyone’s time.

awesome. where at?
didnt know they were numbered.See post number 64 of this thread.
congrats and welcome to the world of relaxation! keep us posted on your first trip. first trips are always a lil hectic, especially packing. we should start a thread about that.....first time camping advice. mine would be leave in enough time to set up in the daylight. seems pretty obvious but i have seen many first time campers trying to set up almost at dark or later. also, have some respect for your neighbors. anuone else chime in???We booked our 1st weekend the 24th of this month. Looking forward to it. Brand new to the rv world. Just got a Forest River mini lite travel trailer.
have your wife get out and help you back the trailer in. dont be nervous. i would take some blocks for under your stabilizer jacks if you dont know what the site is like. also i take leveling blocks for under the tires. my stabilizers are hand crank so i have a cordless drill also.We should arrive around 9-11 am so that should help! I'm open to any advice to make it easier on us. We are anxious to start but I'll admit a little nervous too. I haven't towed anything more than maybe a 17 foot boat in about 35 years.
